The cobra plus G10 4 leg chain sling can be made up with fittings to suit your lifting applications. The quad legs make them ideal for handling larger loads.
When using a 4 leg sling you should ensure each leg is positioned equidistant from each other in order to optimise load stability – an unstable load can be disastrous.
The chain is made from grade 10 alloy steel and comes with a painted blue finish, thus identification is easy. 2.1, 3.1 and UKCA / EC declaration of conformity certification is available.
The Cobra plus grade 10 components used in these slings meet WLL performance requirements plus an additional 25% ( 3.1 cert Not available).
These grade 10 chain slings can be safely used within the temperature range -20 to +200 degrees C. Each component is marked with WLL, size, material code, tracing no. and manufacturers ID.
Each 4 leg sling in the cobra plus g10 range will be supplied with a master-link quad assembly (master and 2 sub links) and 4 chain connectors (1 chain legs in each connector and 2 connectors into each sub link on the master-link). If you order shortening hooks then these will also go into the master-link and enable chain legs to be shortened safely.
This is the only correct set up to ensure each leg can be positioned and angled properly and safely.
At the end of each chain leg the hook of your choice will be attached in order to handle your loads.

Tips: Clevis hooks can be changed as necessary; self locking hooks have larger openings; foundry hook has no safety latch (all the others do).
